I've always passed this place by and I always get the same thought that I need to try this one day. That day finally arrived. Went to lunch with a buddy. He asked for a suggestion and I knew exactly where I wanted to go. I got the combination kabab which consist of chicken, beef & kafta(seasoned beef) kababs. All 3 meats were enjoyable and if I were to pick one tops, it's the kafta kabab. I'm a sucker for that seasoning. You got the option for white or spicy rice. I'm always going spicy. The spiciness doesn't hit it but it has a nice gradual build as you keep eating, but nothing too strong. I also get a side to go with it. I've had hummus many times, so I went with the baba ghanouj. It was basic, but basic is good in this case. This is a family owned restaurant and I like that about it. In an area with a sea of chain restaurants, I enjoy the ones that stand out and this hit the spot. I'll definitely be back.
As someone who has been to Jerusalem, the food here is spot on! Everything was made fresh, the wait was not long, staff were friendly and the location was very clean. We recommend this to anyone thinking to try, and we would come here again!
My husband and I love foreign food and try new places. This place is awesome. Food is incredible. The atmosphere is nice and calm and even had our food served to us at our table. Definitely coming back again!
Ordered food for my wife's birthday and let them know 7 mins in advance and it was basically ready when I got there. Deliciously cooked everything. Cashier was extremely friendly and kind. Beef shawerma and chicken wrap were delicious. As well as their baba ghanouj and falafel were really good. Highly recommend these meals and this place
This place has honestly been one of my go to spots. I love the chicken shawarma they make here. The place is pretty clean, the young man was very respectful and fun to talk to, he also did recommended me the chicken shawarma wrap combo. I always do feel taken care of here and I definitely recommend this place. I also did bring some friends a couple of times and they have loved it too.
I do not hand out 5 stars lightly, but this place deserves it. Very friendly staff and always excellent food. I don't live very close but go out of my way to eat here and time I am in the neighborhood! One of my favorite restaurants!
We had dinner today here. Food was very delicious. The person that brought our food to the table, came back with an extra order of fries for the kids, free, which I considered a nice gesture. We will definitely go back!
I been going here since they first opened up! I live about an hour away and whenever I get the chance I take the time out my day to come here . Best food in the Plainfield and Joliet area . The food is amazing and authentic , punched with lots of flavor and love . The variety of meats are endless , and also options for even those who don’t eat meat . The falafel Is great and so is the spicy rice . Great customer service . Come support a small business , you won’t be disappointed.
The food was absolutely delicious and very fresh! We ordered the hummus, lentil soup, and the half chicken with white rice and salad. Everything was flavorful and tasted homemade. The portion sizes are very generous we couldn't even finish it all, which is rare for us! The hummus was smooth and fresh, the lentil soup was comforting and full of flavor, and the chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I highly recommend trying all of these dishes.
This place completely impressed me with the quality of its food. The chicken shawarma bowl was incredibly flavorful and the falafel was perfectly cooked with a great texture. The spicy rice paired beautifully with the garlic sauce and made the whole dish even more enjoyable. I am still thinking about how good it was. The only thing I wish is that I had also tasted the hot sauce.
